At the onset, we have decided to write a crisp article about why we felt the need to start this venture.
As an Initiative, Pahadi Delights seeks to represent the entire Himalayan region, from Kashmir and Ladakh in the North-West to Arunachal Pradesh in the North-East. The cultural setting, customs and traditions across this massive region is as immensely diverse as in the rest of the country. As are their local products, fruits and vegetables, sourced from some of the remotest farms and forests in the country. Yet, the amazing benefits of products and resources from these remote regions is strangely lost on most of us from the plains. The organic potential of this entire region remains largely untapped to this day.
We have chosen to work with several local producers, farmers and artisans from remote Himalayan lands and pass on some of the goodness from the mountains along your way too. All the products listed on our platform are unique to the Himalayan region and made with completely natural means and methods. And a lot of love.
